My sociology t.a. said that the very reason to why we all obsess about the lives of celebrities, is the same exact reason to why most of us choose to lay out our lives (or parts of our lives) online: we all want that 5 minutes of fame. We all want that feeling that for those few minutes that people are reading our blogs, they are thinking (and maybe even fantasizing) about our lives. I mean, who doesn’t want to be envied? It’s human nature to want to feel superior.
Why I’m back online? Because I’m weak, and after deleting all my other accounts online (you name it, i’ve got it: xanga, livejournal, myspace, friendster, facebook, etc) … I miss my online diary. I disagree with my t.a., I mean, I don’t blog with the intention to make the world know about every little detail in my life. I don’t even think people read it. I just blog because this is my own personal space where I can complain, triumph, be sad, be mad, and be whiny, as much as I like. No one can tell me what not to feel and how to feel like. What better place to vent in a healthy way than online?
With that said, sonnnn, I’m back in the world of blogging
